When you are addicted to alcohol and stop drinking, you experience withdrawal effects. These can be so severe that you start drinking again. Severe withdrawals are hard to get through, and are dangerous unless you have professional support. Our home alcohol detox means you can safely detox safely in the comfort of your own home, with detox medications and one on one support.
At the end of your alcohol home detox package we will work together to create an aftercare plan. By looking at your unique needs we will create a program that works for you. And after your treatment with us you won’t be on your own. All our clients receive free 12 months support and guidance to make sure you have the best possible start to your sobriety. This includes access to a Whatsapp group with peers and regular check-ins with our team members.
If you feel you need an additional level of support following your alcohol home detox, we can also provide you with a 6 relapse prevention program. With this in mind, we offer you a 6 week relapse prevention program following your detox that will give you the tools you need to stay away from alcohol. Topics of the relapse prevention program include anxiety, stress, self-esteem, the power of perception, communication skills, healthy boundaries and the power of forgiveness.
As an optional extra, clients can have sessions with an addiction treatment therapist who will support through online sessions, both during and after your home alcohol detox. We believe that these sessions can play an important role to help you address the underlying reasons behind your addiction. Sessions follow a cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) framework with mindfulness, which allow the development of self-esteem, self-acceptance and emotional resilience. CBT can also facilitate long-term sobriety following detox.
Home alcohol detox is not suitable for everyone. There are some physical and medical conditions that mean home detox may not be a good option for you. If the answers to your medical assessment mean you cannot do medical detox, we will find a CQC registered rehab within our network that is right for you and your needs. Our rehab network covers all of the UK, and helps people who are addicted to all substances.
